It would be hard for anyone to say no to 1 billion dollars. However, proving otherwise is famous YouTuber MrBeast aka Jimmy Donaldson who recently declined the said offer for his content empire. Yes, you read that right! He made the declaration during an appearance on the Flagrant podcast on September 27, wherein co-host Andrew Shulz expressed that he was “shocked” that Donaldson hadn’t been offered “the craziest check in history” for his content yet.
To this, the YouTuber replied, “I have been offered a pretty crazy one. There are people, not like official term sheets, but people that would be able to afford it, a billion dollars if they could own the channel and the companies and stuff.
While making the massive revelations, Donaldson, however, declined to unveil the names of the people who made the offer. When asked if he had a price in mind for his channel and associated endeavors if he were to sell them in the future, he said:
“It’s so crazy I don’t even want to say it because it’s just where I want to be. If we have a mobile game company and we got 100 million people playing it, and we have a thousand physical Beast Burgers and Feastables in 20,000 stores, it would probably be like $10 billion, $20 billion.”
Well, with a staggering 105 million subscribers and growing on YouTube, we aren’t surprised to know of MrBeast’s high expectations!
