Thanks to its collaboration with Quintessence Yachts, Aston Martin only recently announced their super-sailer. But that doesn’t mean that one company’s first throws a wet blanket on the launch of another. Mercedes-Benz too have added their flair to a yacht that resembles a super-car very closely. Earlier announced at the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show, the Arrow 460 Grantourismo Edition Yacht is a 14-meter long vessel that can carry up to ten people and treat them to utmost luxury. It runs on twin Yanmar diesel engines and offers a scenic 360-degree view of surroundings.
The large size of the yacht makes room for an elaborate interior design. The interiors include an upscale bathroom, a dressing room, a wine cellar and an ice-cream machine. Guests and passengers will be treated to high-quality audio playback while they cruise the seven seas in luxury and all the oomph that a super-yacht could bring with it. With luxurious nubuck leather and eucalyptus wood interiors, sea-sickness wouldn’t even find itself any room in the vast, spacious sailor.
The company has created only ten examples of this yacht, ensuring a single boat released in a different country. Rumormills suggest that the Mercedes-Benz Arrow 460 Grantourismo Edition Yacht could set you back $1.7 million. We can only ponder and speculate for now.
