British Vogue celebrates 100 years with a pop-up café in London

As British Vogue celebrates its centenary, the magazine will get a pop-up café that’s as chic and stylish as its glossy pages. Destined for west London’s Westfield shopping mall, the café will be open from June 27th until September 25th. It’s a perfect place to pore over your favorite magazine as you sip a drink especially as the café will be dressed with famous British Vogue covers from the past century.

Speaking of drinks, the café will serve four varieties of champagne by the glass along with other favorites like Bollinger Rosé, Prosecco, cocktails and hot chocolate. A Krug Grand Cuvee Brut NV will cost £195 ($282) per bottle and will be joined on the menu by specially created a Vogue 100 champagne cocktail and a Vogue 100 punch. In true British fashion, the café will also serve afternoon tea and sandwiches, cupcakes, macarons and muffins.

“2016 is an exceptional year for Vogue, and continuing the centenary celebrations the Vogue Café will be a perfect stop-off for shoppers in The Village at Westfield,” said Alexandra Shulman, Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue. Myf Ryan, Westfield UK and Europe’s chief marketing officer added, “The pop-up café will allow our shoppers and diners to celebrate the centenary in a really unique way.”
