Stylish classics like the high-heeled pumps are reinvented all the time but most brands add trendy changes like neon colors or platform heels. Only Dior could take on the eternal shoe style and make it their own. The brand’s new Dioressence stiletto is a pointy toed pump with a curved heel and a low cut vamp.
Dioressence is a mod take on the pumps from Dior’s spring 1959 collection. Available in ochre, military green, cognac, “Trafalgar” red, bronze, white, anthracite gray, inky, azure, navy and midnight and in lambskin or calf materials, the shoes are sure to take the fashion world by storm. The truly ambitious can try the vertiginous 10 cm heel version while others can stick to the 7 cm heels. The new shoes also include a rubber pad in the sole for increased comfort. Prices range from $660 to $710.
