Guerlain reveals new Four Seasons fragrance collection

Guerlain’s Les Quatre Saisons collection just got four new fragrances inspired by the seasons. Thierry Wasser has developed this olfactory masterpiece and they are predictably named for the four seasons: Le Printemps, L’Été, L’Automne, and L’Hiver. The fragrances are bottled in Baccarat “quadrilobe” flacons designed by textile designer Janaïna Milheiro. These are limited editions and only 20 signed and numbered bottles of each scent have been created.

lautomne
L’Automne
Everyone who has experienced Fall is obsessed with it, so naturally, we’re ecstatic that someone bottled the scents of our favorite season. The bottle too is adorned with falling leaves so distinctive of the season. Venture out in the crisp autumnal air wearing this fragrance “poem” which opens with citrusy notes that give way to middle notes of Iris, Vetiver and woody Cedar and base notes of moss, patchouli, and Tonka bean.
lhiver
L’Hiver
We love the icy blue flacon that holds L’Hiver. With top notes of pine and angelica, heart notes of iris and ambrette, and base notes of frankincense, white musk and amber, L’Hiver perfectly captures the scent of a wintry vacation in a mountainside cabin.
le-printemps
Le Printemps
Fittingly, the flacon for the spring fragrance is adorned with colorful geometric flowers that herald the season. The floral theme is reflected in the actual perfume which opens with top notes of hyacinth and bergamot, heart notes of freesia, cyclamen, and Bulgarian rose, and base notes of white musks.
lete
L’Ete
The summer fragrance L’Ete is like a long sun-soaked vacation in fragrance form. Top notes of lemon and bergamot, middle notes of peach and jasmine, and base notes of carnation, hay, and vanilla make this fragrance light and cheery scent that leaves you feeling uplifted.
