Superyachts these days are equipped with every conceivable luxury so it’s only natural that a music lover would want to take their beloved instrument with them across the seas too! For exactly this reason, Goldfinch has created a new grand piano designed to perfectly fit the dimensions of a superyacht. Goldfinch is a Strategic Global Partner to Northrop and Johnsons so their yacht-ready piano will be showcased at Northrop & Johnson’s display at the 2016 Palm Beach International Boat Show from March 17 to March 20.
Called the Goldfinch Sygnet, it will be the smallest Grand Piano in the world and is outfitted with the brand’s Virtuoso self-playing feature. The piano will be customizable and can be tailored to meet the needs of the buyer. The 127-centimeter pianos are hand built in Cambridge and come complete with wireless iPod controls, a solid spruce German “Strunz” soundboard, “Abel” hammers and state-of-the-art Carbon Fiber action. The piano is priced at around $100,000.
