That Saudi Arabia will set a benchmark in luxury travel is foreseeable. Italian superyacht and architecture studio Luca Dini Design and Architecture has designed a luxury island resort in the Red Sea. Neom’s Sindalah Island, set to open in 2024, will be a significant draw for globetrotters and yachting enthusiasts. The 840,000-square-metre island is an exceptional resort aimed at the yachting community and will comprise a yacht club, three luxury resorts, a spa, 51 luxury shops, and 86 piers. Superyachts, boats, or golf, whatever your passion, Sindalah indulges every divertissement.
The multi-faceted resort includes a 5,920-metre, par 70 golf course and a driving range. This unique island experience is connected to Mediterranean sailing routes and will create 3,500 jobs for tourism, hospitality, and leisure services.
Inside Neom Sindalah, one will find ‘The Village,’ with 51 luxury stores, several restaurants, and lounges. The Marina offers 50 well-appointed rooms and villas, whereas the South Beach Resort boasts 225 rooms and 52 villas.
His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the NEOM Company Board of Directors, said: “This is another significant moment for NEOM and a major step in the Kingdom realizing its tourism ambitions under Vision 2030. Sindalah will be NEOM’s first luxury island and yacht club destination in the Red Sea, providing a scenic gateway to the Red Sea that will become the region’s most exciting and attractive tourism location. It will be a destination where travelers can experience the true beauty of NEOM and Saudi Arabia, above and below the water, making Sindalah the future of luxury travel.”
The Sindalah luxury island resort is one of 10 regions developed as part of the $1 trillion mega-project Neom City which will include The Line. If Sindalah is ready by 2024, then MBS’s $500 billion futuristic ski resort Trojena in the desert will host the 2029 Asian Winter Games.
This ambitious project is said to be 33 times the size of New York City and will include a ski village, an artificial lake, ultra-luxury mansions, and the ultra-luxe Mirror Line.
While Neom sounds too good to be true, Sindalah Island resort looks like the pacesetter that will make reality glorious for the global traveler with one of the most enchanting islands in the Red Sea.
