Mercedes Benz Launches the CLS Grand Edition with a matte finish

The latest creation by Mercedes Benz that hit the European markets recently is another great beauty, which exudes the automaker’s class and style. Known as The CLS Grand Edition, it adds a unique package to a unique car. While most Mercedes come with a classy and shiny paint job, the CLS will be available to its customers in a platinum matte paint finish. These matte-finish cars will be not only glossed free but also scratch and dirt resistant. Other exterior features that set the Grand Edition apart from lesser CLS models are Bi-xenon headlamps with dark headlight castings, active headlights, a headlamp cleaning system, unique 18-inch AMG wheels, and Grand Edition badging.

The interior too is equivalent to its classy exterior finish with an Alcantara headliner; aluminum sports pedals, wood trim, and ‘Grand Edition’ floor mats. And for all those who prefer their cars to have a shiny finish, they can still order the package in obsidian black, iridium silver, carneol red, or flint gray metallic paint colors. With prices starting from €67,294.50($92,136), and deliveries slated for March 2009, the CLS promises to rule the roads.
