While only celebrities or those from the glamour world were previously reported of buying luxurious properties, tech giants have now joined the league, and how! From Jeff Bezos to Bill Gates – tech messiahs are slowly capturing the real-estate scene. And the latest to join in is Google co-founder Sergey Brin.
The multi-millionaire has recently bought a posh Point Dume that previously belonged to singer Pink. Perched on a notably deep lot that spans a healthy 1.2 acres, the house was constructed in 2005 by a local attorney and his wife.
Pink purchased it for $11.9 million and later re-sold it in 2016 for $12.5 million to French investment banker Matthieu Pigasse. And the selling spree doesn’t end here! Pigasse then handed over the keys to an anonymous buyer for $13.5 million in 2020.
The luxe home open through big gates and a long driveway that leads past a grassy lawn and pool area to the house. The main property spans 6,300-square-foot and contains elements of Craftsman style and tropical luxury.
It features five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two powder rooms, plus a gym, several fireplaces, and a kitchen with two islands and Viking appliances. The home also boasts a recording studio, along with a poolside cabana and spa.
Behind the home lies dense trees and a vegetable garden with several avenues for me-time. The home is further handed over to Brin with private access to Little Dume Beach! Currently, the property is owned by the Google co-founder along with his ex-wife Nicole Shanahan. However, the two have filed for divorce in January, and it now remains to be seen who snaps up this luxe wonder!
