This leather horse from Hermes costs more than a Porsche 911

For the not-so-rich class, luxury often means absurdity. After all, who would want to want spend millions on a rock-like art piece or a hand bag that only manages to carry the very same essentials for you? However, if you are someone who strongly disagrees with the previous statement, you may find the sense that we are so desperately seeking out of the recent art collectible by Hermès that is waiting to get you bankrupt.

The luxury label’s new art piece for you is a leather statue of a horse that measures 4.5 feet long and showcases very ordinary looking fringes off its head. Named, Marley – The Pony, the structure encompasses a luxe looking upholstered mini-statue that is nice enough for the eyes, but fails to solve any purpose beyond that. Even for the uber-rich who have plenty of money to burn, giving away a shattering $133,000 on a toy pony would be a hard deal for obvious reasons.

Questioning the worth of Hermès new collectible is thus obvious because a price tag like can buy you a couple of SUV’s or even a decent enough home in few parts of the country as an alternative. Either ways, it would be quite un wise to spend a chuck that huge on a fringed leather toy. If nothing, buying a real horse (with a stable) for this sum makes more sense in the world!
