Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud aka MBS’s spectacular all-year-round ski village Neom Trojena is taking shape and how! After finalizing General Hotel Management Ltd. (GHM) as the second hotel partner for Trojena, experiential travel hospitality company Collective Retreats will open a sustainability-focused property in Neom’s mountainous region. Collective Trojena is dubbed as the next-generation, ultra-sustainable retreat featuring approximately 60 open-air guest rooms dotted by marvelous water features, meeting space concepts, communal campfires to make the most of the habitat, and unmatched culinary experiences.
As part of the year-round ski destination in northwest Saudi Arabia, Collective Trojena will also cater to outdoor activities such as skiing and snowboarding, high-altitude training, paragliding, mountain biking, hiking, water sports, and more. “In addition to giving a global audience a new perspective on this spectacular mountain setting, we are committed to demonstrating that luxury travel should not be extractive and it’s possible to both preserve the environment and deliver extraordinary guest experiences,” said Collective Retreats CEO and founder, Peter Mack.
